Lately the hard core gamers have been declaring that the era of the Nintendo Wii console is now over. Since they think serious gamers won't buy it, and everyone else has already bought one, who's left to keep the Wii console at the top of its form? Well the Nintendo Wii is just getting started - and there are plenty of people still having fun with it and planning to get in the game with the Wii.
There are literally thousands of reasons to still get a Wii console. The Wii is easy to set up, and also very easy to play. All you have to do really is wave the controller at the sensor bar to move your characters. The games available also range from easy, like Mario Party 8 for children, up to more difficult games like Zelda Twilight Princess.
There's no need for you to be an expert, or even a serious gamer, to be able to have a blast with the Wii. You might also like the Nintendo Wii Fit, which includes a balance board, and helps you practice yoga, strength training, or weight loss programs. New games are coming out for the Wii Fit too, like EA Sports Active, to continue to provide a challenge for just about anyone.

Nintendo is keeping up the good work by continuing to innovate and think up new ways to use the Wii. For example, just released is the the Wii MotionPlus, which is an accessory that makes the Wii controller even more sensitive to your every movement. To use the MotionPlus technology, Nintendo also released a new version of Wii Sports, called Wii Sports Resort.
For people who are still considering a console buy, the new Wii Fit bundles include everything you need including the console which is packaged with the Sports Resort game and the MotionPlus. You can also get Wii bundles for other combinations, where the console is packaged with sports games, kids games, even games like Mario Kart for Wii.
Last but not least are all the great downloadable games that are available on the Wii Channel. With a wireless network at home, Wii owners can get access to hundreds of additional games online, including Super Mario and Donkey Kong arcade games, plus games like Defend Your Castle and My Life As A King. The bottom line is, Nintendo is aiming to provide a fun product for people regardless of age or gaming experience, and the fun will keep going to a long time to come!
