Who never played a Mario game?? Definitely, most of us did and also most of us would love to see our all-time favorite cartoon characters be brought to life in games. And with the different game consoles we have today, most of our favorite cartoon characters were put in a game.

The game was released ahead of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games that will be held in Vancouver, Canada. Sega Japan developed the game and has really hit all the right spot. There are plenty of sports to choose from and this will take you weeks or even months to play them all.

Mario and Sonic game was released to be played in Nintendo DS and Wii. Other characters from the first version, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, plus four new characters are included in this new version.

To play multiplayer in the Wii console, the WebConnect24 is enabled. The player can either choose co-op or competitive gameplay. On the other hand, wireless capabilities will be used in Nintendo DS to play multiplayer mode. The player can also make use of their Miis and give them a make-over by altering its clothes and accessories.

Festival mode is a new addition to Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games where the player participates in all of the events. The player can join the opening ceremony until the closing of the whole event.

The player will be able to join all events in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games through the Festival Mode. Its counterpart in Nintendo DS is the Adventure Mode. In DS, the player must lookout for Bowser and Doctor Eggman who are planning to disrupt the event by capturing the Snow Spirits.
